At the age of 14 Grenville won the opening around of the South African 1990 Elite 'Look of the Year' contest. She modelled briefly in Milan, before moving to New York and signing with the Next agency.Grenville has made cameo appearances in an episode of the British comedy Absolutely Fabulous and in the film 54.
